At Greenstone we firmly believe that in order to do well, we must do good. As such, Greenstone participates in a number of fundraising, charity and volunteer events and has a Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Operating under the Real Insurance brand, the realSpaces Corporate Social Responsibility initiative assists communities across the country in having access to free outdoor gyms that contribute to long-term health and vitality for all Australians.
Using existing green spaces within local communities, state-of-the-art outdoor gym equipment has been installed with the goal of getting more Aussies active.
The Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 5k & 10k
Real Insurance has sponsored the Sydney Harbour 5k and 10k running events since 2013 and is proud to continue bringing this event to Sydneysiders.
Set in the historic Rocks area, the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 5k and 10k boasts spectacular views of Sydney’s greatest attractions with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House providing inspirational scenery to keep runners going.
The event is held each year in July providing the perfect opportunity to start a winter fitness regime or simply have a fun morning out with the family.
Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, providing approximately 166,000 meals for those in need each day. Greenstone has supported this initiative since 2016 giving employees the opportunity to donate goods and truly support families in need.
Greenstone looks forward to continually supporting this initiative in the years to come.
Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Day
As part of Greenstone’s ‘We Care’ value, giving back to the community is an important part of operating our business. With charities such as Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in need, Greenstone’s Human Resources team has previously held a fundraising event on office premises as well as volunteered through cleaning and stall hosting activities at RMH’s Westmead location.
With the intent of giving back to seriously ill children and their families, Greenstone is passionate about supporting this initiative and plans to do so on a yearly basis.
